Peter W. Chamberlain murdered

Peter W. Chamberlain, editor of Nettlebrook newspaper The Babbling Brook for the past 40 years, was found dead in his home this past Sunday, the night of September the 15th. The cops were said to have been called around 11pm and arrived at the gruesome scene 10 minutes later.

I was not able to catch a glimpse of the body, however according to the autopsy report, Mr. Chamberlain died of slashing injuries to his neck and stabbing injuries to his stomach. He also maintained several bruises and the shattering of the bones in his feet upon falling down the stairs.

The police quickly ruled this a murder.

According to an insider, there doesn't appear to be any evidence as to who committed the murder. Mr. Chamberlain's daughter Grace and her friend Abigail Hale (daughter of Mayor Dick Hale) were present during the murder and were questioned, but I was not told whether there are any leads based on this questioning. The investigation continues.

Mr. Chamberlain is survived by his wife Anna, his daughter Grace, and his son Griffin.

  1. Dang that's pretty brutal... I wonder if the tarot card thing fits into a motive somehow?

  2. I wonder if you can hear it happening on his daughter’s IG live-stream? In any case I’m curious about his son...

  3. With his throat slashed i wonder how he was able to yell so clearly and i wonder why on the stream you couldn't hear him fall down the stairs

    1. Carmen showed me the video. He certainly sounds panicked, however you are right, he does not seem to be gurgling or choking on blood; However this may be because the slashes were actually on the back of his neck, as though he was cut from behind (perhaps while he was trying to evade his attacker). According to the updated autopsy report, there were also spinal injuries from this that were not immediately evident.

Another note: the injuries appear to be caused by a very sharp steak knife, so the police are searching the town and surrounding areas for such a murder weapon.

  4. There was also zero blood if I recall correctly during the livestream at the end... Which means either the autopsy report has been falsified, or the body examined is not his, or something else (possibly supernatural) is going on.
On the other hand the Judgment tarot card is generally connected with judging people too harshly. This can refer to Grace and Abigail, or to Mr Chamberlain himself, in the sense that he was going to be judged harshly for his own poor judgment.
Hunter, in your time at the Babbling did you witness any instance of Mr Chamberlain stirring the news reported?

    1. I was able to see the photos taken at the scene and they were not pretty. Though blood does not appear in the video (likely because the low image quality), it did appear throughout the house. I will be posting an update to this blog, having reviewed the crime scene photos.

    2. In regards to my time at The Brook, yes, I can recall many a time that Peter Chamberlain censored the news. I was fired for reporting on things he didn't want me to.

I will be posting scans of recent editions of the Brook as evidence of his continued censorship.

  5. Are there other people who might've viewed Mr. Chamberlain in a negative light due to his penchant for censoring information, or being biased towards certain individuals? Anyone who might've held a grudge? or perhaps was he involved in conflict recently with anyone in town?

  6. Seems like a strange way to kill someone, especially after reading the comments

  7. It's very strange that if he was killed on the 15th, there was an autopsy report by the 16th, especially given that the 15th was a Sunday. And that you were able to review it so quickly. Sounds suss to me, like it was written up in advance. No way a tiny town that isn't even on the map could get a body transported and examined that fast on a Sunday. Maybe something to look into?

    2. Please let us know if you're able to find anything out regarding this hinky business. I might just read way too much about the funeral industry, undertakers, forensic pathologists and that kind of thing, but it's been months and I'm still bothered by this. It just doesn't add up. It's like someone wanted to get him in the ground so fast, they started on the paperwork before he was dead. It seems very strange to me that you would be allowed to see photos of a suspicious crime scene IMMEDIATELY (no offense). No one should be permitted to view these pictures until the matter is completely closed. What impression is someone trying to give the public? Something is extremely hinky here....

  8. Yo this is pretty crazy! What’s even more crazy is I was redirected to this article from the clown porn video I was watching! Let me tell you those clowns had some big balloon animals if you know what I’m saying. What was even more impressive is how much of the balloons they could fit inside themselves. Could the redirection have something to do with one of the clowns looking just like U.S. politician Ted Cruz and well we all know how he like to murder LOL. But seriously if anyone wants the link to said clown porn hit me up at my business email senator@biden.senate.gov
